Three days lets you see the Busan beyond the beach-and-market highlights — the seaside temple, the cliff walks, and the park at the port's mouth. Here is the deeper circuit.
Day One: Port City
Dawn at Jagalchi if you can manage it — the wholesale auction floor runs early and the market is at its most real before 8:00. Breakfast on hoe upstairs, then the village bus up to Gamcheon Culture Village for the morning (fewer crowds before 11:00). Afternoon at Songdo: the skywalk over the water and the marine cable car across the bay — the transparent-floor cabins cost a little more and are worth it. Dinner in Nampo-dong's dwaeji gukbap alley.
Day Two: The Northeast Coast
Take the Donghae Line or bus 181 to Haedong Yonggungsa, the temple on the sea cliffs — go early. Backtrack to Songjeong Beach for a grilled-clam lunch on the waterfront, then ride the Blueline Park beach train down the coast through Cheongsapo to Mipo. Walk Haeundae Beach in the late afternoon, loop Dongbaek Island at golden hour, and finish at Gwangalli for the bridge lights and dinner on the beachfront strip.
Day Three: Cliffs and the Port Mouth
Morning on the Igidae Coastal Walk — the cliff path on the peninsula facing Gwangalli, with suspension bridges and the best view of the bridge from sea level. It takes about two hours end to end; start at the Oryukdo end if you want the skywalk over the waves too. In the afternoon, bus to Taejongdae, the cliff park at the southern tip of Yeongdo island — ride the Danubi train loop (4,000 KRW) to the lighthouse observatory, where on clear days you can see Japan's Tsushima Island on the horizon. The pebble beach below the cliffs, reached by stairs, is a good last swim.
Logistics
Day three is bus-heavy — Naver Map is essential. Everything else runs on Lines 1 and 2 plus the Donghae Line.
